How
to use K9 FLEA

KILLER is
100% Nitenpyram, which is approved for the removal of fleas in
dogs and cats over 6 weeks of age and over 2 pounds of body
weight. It can be used on pregnant and nursing dogs and cats.
Nitenpyram is so gentle, you can use it on your pet DAILY as
needed. The
FLEA KILLER kills LIVE fleas over a 24-hour period. It�s given
monthly along with a Flea Control capsule for maintenance but can
be given more often if needed. For example, If you have an
infestation new fleas will be hatching daily from eggs the fleas
have already laid. This will explain why you may see fleas again a
day or two after treatment. You will need to give follow up
treatments for an infestation if you have one. You will need to
give each pet one capsule every 5 days for a month, and then you
can give it as needed or monthly. By giving your pet a capsule
once every 5 days you will be killing the newly hatched fleas
before they can begin reproducing. Nitenpyram is out of
your pet's system in 24 hours. Once fleas are back under control,
you can resume giving one Flea Killer capsule montly along with a
Flea Control capsule.

When
should you use K9 FLEA KILLER?
When a new pet is introduced.

If your topical flea preventative has been washed off.
Topical flea
prevention can be washed off by a bath or a swim in a pond. If you
bathe your dog or cat often you may want to consider our monthly
oral product called K9 Flea Control.
The fleas on
your pet will be falling off during treatment. You may want to put
your pet in your bathroom or pet crate to make cleaning up easier.
